one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another as:
a: one of the twelve in the inner circle of Christ’s followers according to the Gospel accounts
b: a convinced adherent of a school or individual
Discipleship is basically about becoming a follower of Christ and then practicing spiritual multiplication. What does that mean? Acts 1:8 says the call of every Christian is to share our faith EVERYWHERE – in our homes (Jerusalem), neighborhoods (Judea), with neighbors and co-workers (Samaria), and wherever we go (ends of the earth) – because we are called to serve. To equip you for the journey, NJC offers several discipleship programs for men and women to help mature you in your faith and sustain your walk with God.
CHAMPION MEN’S MINSTRY
This ministry uses a small group setting to bring Christian men together for an in-depth exploration of God’s Word using the Maximized Manhood curriculum.

SISTERS IN CHRIST WOMEN’S MINISTRY – TITUS 2 DISCIPLESHIP
Women who desire a deeper relationship with God turn to SICWM. The discipleship courses assist women on their spiritual journey of following Christ while providing them with the necessary tools to be able to pour into the lives of other women.

MEN’S RETREAT with Pastor Dwayne K. Pickett, Sr.
The Men’s Retreat is designed for men to come together for an overnight stay, great food, and engaging teaching and discussion about becoming godly men. It is a reminder that God has called every man to a life of honesty, purity, and integrity. Become the man God has called you to be and be a light to a dark world.

LIFE TO LIFE Small Groups
The purpose of Life to Life Small Group is to make disciples through relationships formed in small groups. God has called us to make disciples as we live our lives (Matthew 28:18-20). Life to Life group members live their lives together around the Word of God, learning it, doing it and spreading it. Through small groups, relationships will be made where people will live life together.
God’s people will be intentionally trained on how to Learn God’s Word, Do God’s Word, and Spread God’s Word. Members will be accountable for one another, worshiping, fellowshipping, ministering, making disciples, and evangelizing together.
